Hi, I am Florence!

I graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. (2019) and M.Eng. (2020) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering. My project experience, innovative mindset, and affinity for problem solving makes me a strong candidate.

As an undergraduate, I balanced a rigorous curriculum and a number of extracurricular activities that have taught me to solve problems as efficiently and innovatively as possible and prioritize each and every step of a project. For example, through my academic projects such as the research on Pompeii columns, I have developed abilities in effective presentation of projects and analysis of structural stability.

In the summer of 2018, I interned at Ferrovial and worked on the expansion of the I-295 and SR-400 highway in Georgia. During my internship, I participated in weekly meetings concerning utilities and submitted numerous traffic control forms. Here's my resume if you'd like to learn more about my previous experience.

I interned at Thornton Tomasetti for the summer of 2019. I recently finished my M.Eng. program in Civil Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
